Believe it or not, I have managed to transfer all my previous blogs over to WordPress. Don't get me wrong, my newly acquired blog is far from perfect - but it's a start. There are many plans I have for my new journey with WordPress; however, I must have patience because there is no way I will be able to learn all of this overnight.

Thus far, I am very happy and satisfied with my decision to switch over to WordPress. It much more complicated; therefore, when you figure it out, there is a sense of true accomplishment that comes over you. Here at Weebly they make life easy on you. It's more of a drag and drop type of interface. My blogging will desire freedom and WordPress will give it just that. So please, come visit and stay a while. Make sure you follow me - things will only get better over time.

It's official... WordPress here I come! I've started setting up my blog with WordPress. I acquired a domain, chose a host, installed WordPress and now I'm just figuring it all out. It's very fun and exciting. I'm just so anxious to see the finished product and it feels like it's taking me forever! I even went and invested in "WordPress for Dummies." It has actually helped me a lot!

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like WordPress is going to make it easy to import all of my previous blogs from here at Weebly. I'm disappointed about this and have not given up yet. I'm hoping in later chapters of my Dummy book I will be guided through the process. I did notice on WordPress that there are certain blogging sites they have an easy import option... Weebly was not one of them. Go figure!

The thing I'm most excited and nervous about is my blog design. I have a feeling the WordPress themes are not going to be to my liking. Does anyone have any suggestions for this? Obviously, I would like to avoid spending money on doing this if at all possible. Is there a way to make it look "lovely-ish" on my own?

So excited,
Lovely Rita

Anyway, I came across a blog that teamed up with UPrinting to giveaway 500 business cards. Click the picture below to visit The Adventures of Supermom's blog and enter this awesome giveaway!

Me! How awesome is that? There were some really precious kids in those pictures and mine won. I really wasn't sure how far we'd get. Don't get me wrong, I know my baby is extremely handsome... but he had some competition! It's great! So this is the picture that took the cake:

It was such an honor to win and I think this has got to be one of the most awesome prizes! For winning, we get a gift basket full of eco-friendly goodies. Now I'm not 100% positive but Soleil Moon Frye (her blog is where I won) started a children's specialty boutique that carries eco-friendly and organic products called The Little Seed. I assume this is where the items are from. How great is that?

This is my first "Not Me" Monday post. It looked fun so I thought I would try it out....

So today I did NOT put a sign up on my door telling the lawn mowing men to Ssshhh because there was a sleeping baby. I did not take advantage of the note even after our baby was awake by leaving it up... that I did NOT do.

I did NOT open a box of my friends Girl Scout cookies because mine will not be in until Wednesday and I know she is not going to get them by then. After NOT opening them, I did NOT almost eat the whole box. Nope, not me.

Today I did NOT check Solei Moon Frye's blog a million time to see if my picture of my son was winning the photo contest. I did NOT do that. I was too busy to check that a million times.

On a quiet note, I did NOT order 13 boxes of Girl Scout cookies from my daughter. I did NOT do this because if I did my fiance would have a fit... I did NOT contemplate on how I was going to hide these cookies or pay for them secretly for that matter. This I would NEVER do... so no, I did NOT do this.

I'm bad. Hopefully he still doesn't follow my blog. lol
